• Emailed my landlord about staying 2 extra days in my apartment, so as not to unnecessarily burden family members with my presence before leaving town. Sounds like it'll work out.
• Mailed my student loan appeal. I was going to wait until I got to school and maybe obtained a part-time job to supplement my bank account before appealing, but due to the stressing (see previous post), I figured, why wait? The thing is, I think they'll reject my claim anyway, since my original letter or assessment stated that "Your costs are higher than those allowed by Students Finance." So I'm not holding my breath, but I figure it's worth a shot.
• Reserved a rental car. The quote was US $88, so let's hope it's somewhere in that neighborhood once they add on all the rip-you-off-at-pick-up charges.
• Persuade is on the job, trying to find a foster home for Salsa. When I take her to the vet tonight (the cat, not Persuade), I'll ask if they know any additional resources for cat foster care.
