you can climb a ladder up to the sun Yesterday was the beginning of "birthday season" in my family. Out of seven people in our original group, five of them have birthdays in a one-month span. My father turned 62 yesterday (Happy Birthday!). Jamie turns 29 today (Happy Birthday!). Next up is Kris on September 6th, but since Mom's turning the big 60 this year, we're actually having her party on September 3 to take advantage of the long weekend for out-of-town guests. We'll likely celebrate Kris' that weekend too (since he'll be here visiting from Vancouver). Then it's Keri on the 11th. And Mom's actual birthday on the 21st of September finishes off birthday season. Yikes.

froo and I generously chose to be born in April so as not to make birthday season even more stressful. Very nice of us, no? And Keri and Gina have followed our example and had their children in January, February and March. Good planning.  | ¶ 11:21 a.m.
