everyone's taking everything thing they can We just had a meeting with representatives from our HR department to review changes to the employee orientation program. They invited me because I'm a relatively new employee, and they know somebody dropped the ball on my orientation. They wanted my feedback, if I had any to offer. I learned something really interesting in this meeting. Apparently it's an established fact that companies "lose" an employee (mentally) within the first thirty days. I can vouch for that.
